Dear SmartTrade Customer,

We are proud to serve businesses such as yours all over the UK and always look to champion small business owners and sole traders, with the intent of making sure you can always run your business efficiently and get paid.

During these times where COVID-19 is sweeping the world and the nation, we are doing what we can with what we have to help our customers stay safe and healthy. In this regard I want to remind everyone about the payment options within SmartTrade which do not require any face to face interaction. By using the options below you can get paid from your customers without running the risk of contracting the Coronavirus:

Via your phone or online dashboard you can send your customer a paylink. This automatically sends your customer an email with the option to pay their outstanding amount at their own convenience.

Virtual Terminal
In your online dashboard you have a virtual terminal, which you can use to accept payments from customers while on the phone with them. Just fill in the card details and process the payment in the comfort of your own home or office.

Pay by Bank App
In your application you can request a payment from a customer by simply adding their phone number. This option can currently be used to request payment from any of your customers with the Barclays Pingit or HSBC banking application on their phones.
